Introductory two hour Oil and Cold Wax Medium art workshop. Available June through to end of August 2024 at Valentia Island Art Studio ans rest of year at Studio 37, Sandymount, Dublin.
No art experience necessary. A fun and intuitive introduction to painting with Oil and Beeswax. All materials supplied. Recommended group size 2 to 4 persons. One on one sessions available on request. Contact me to make a booking.

€ 65 one on one session.
No paint brushes are used in this process. Oil paint mixed with Cold Wax Medium is applied using specialist squeegees where colour is layered up thickly. Then the creative process of excavating back down through the layers is explored. It’s a happy combination of abstract mark making, spreading, scratching, sculpting, and unadulterated playing, all combined in one messy session. You will leave with an edition of 4 original oil paintings that I have no doubt you will be very proud of. Dont wear your best clothes. Aprons are provided. Warning, this workshop is both fun and highly therapeutic!
